Middle School is where children grow into their teenage years as they hone the skills they have learned in Elementary School and prepare themselves for the transition to high school. Middle School students have unique needs and Incarnation School strives to address both their academic and social-emotional needs while teaching them to become self-advocates so that when the time for high school comes they are equipped to persevere and excel. In our Middle School students thrive because:

• They must learn to advocate for themselves when help is needed and to challenge themselves to go beyond what is expected.
• Our learning environments are engaging, caring, cross-curricular and challenging.
• A standards-based curriculum, rich in its diversity and integration of technology prepares students for “real world” application of needed core skills. Writing, Oral communication, literacy, theology and math lie at the foundation of a curriculum that is diverse and specialized.
• Through our Catholic faith and daily theology classes, our students build their Social-emotional intelligence and moral compass. Essential life skills, our students are supported, as they grow in character and compassion. Following the Golden Rule “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” helps develop a respect for self and others in their daily practices.
